What is the twitter bug bounty program?

  Hi,
  I have a Twitter account. I heard from a friend of mine that there are several bugs on Twitter. I know every application has its own bugs and they usually get fixed in the coming updates. But, what worries me is if Twitter has a security bug. Is it possible to get hacked on Twitter ? Has this ever happened? I also heard the ” Twitter bug bounty program” expression. What do you know about this? Does Twitter really employ hackers to hack into the website?

  Hi Charles61, most large social media have bounty programs. The Twitter Bug Bounty Program enlists the help of the hacker community to make Twitter more secure. The hackers try to find the security bugs on linkedin and get paid for their success on this matter.
