Hi
I have decided to get my business online and in the first stage, I will work with Instagram.
I have found a suitable username for my page that is fit for my business but it has been taken by anyone else, unfortunately.
How can I find out if this username is inactive or not?
Can I take one of the Instagram inactive usernames?
Does anyone have the same experience?

Hello Christopher,

To answer your question, you should note that if a username that you want is being used by an account that seems inactive, you can choose an available version of the username. You can add periods, numbers, underscores or abbreviations to help you come up with a username that’s not already in use. You don’t need to just use the same username.
