Hey,

Does anybody know if TikTok’s favorite videos are private or not? I mean, what is the default setting for these videos on TikTok? If I save a video in my favorites, can other people see it?

Helo Jessy12, I’m sorry to tell you that you can no longer favorite a TikTok in peace. Earlier this month, TikTok made an update that notifies creators when someone favorites their video on the app. So, the owner of that video which you save in your favorites notices this action. This means your favorites aren’t as anonymous as they used to be, which frankly sucks the fun out of the favorites feature. :((
